The Allamanda Garden Club of North Port, Inc believes in supporting education. It’s today’s students who’ll be the leaders of tomorrow, ensuring the preservation of our natural resources on the planet Earth.
Allamanda Garden Club scholarships are awarded to college juniors or seniors in an undergraduate program, as well as graduate or doctoral students. (College sophomores are eligible as they will be entering their junior year the following fall.)
Application deadline is March 31, 2024
In 2023 we’ll be awarding two $2,500 scholarships. Our scholarships provide tuition assistance to students attending a college or university anywhere in the United States. Preference will be given to students who are residents of North Port, Port Charlotte, Englewood or Venice, Florida.
Applicants will be judged on the following:
Aptitude in the field of horticulture
Academic record
Avocational interests and vocational potential
Character
